Milestone Update
The Hopewell Food Co-op has completed its Phase 1 feasibility study using data modeling.
The opportunity is real: ROIC analytics forecasts $43,496 in weekly sales serving an estimated 1,500 customers a week in Year 1.
We're not alone in wanting this: Hopewell Borough and Township are home to nearly 20,000 residents with zero full-service grocery stores — and almost $9.5 million is spent on groceries outside town every single week.
What's next: The committee is moving into site selection and a store-size sensitivity study (3,000–7,500 sq. ft.), alongside continued member-equity fundraising.
